Job Description

Enterprise Architect
Enterprise Architect is the key solution orchestrator in bringing together the right combination of Enterprise IT, Cloud & Digital Technologies to build end-to-end solution to address specific client business problems. While deep technical solution expertise is needed, this also needs the right combination of Business and commercial acumen to help drive the right Transformation programs for clients.

Key job responsibilities

Understanding the business strategy & vision and translating them into enterprise-wide technology strategy in alignment with client strategic priorities
Assess the impact of the business strategy on the architecture landscape, including organization, information and infrastructure and applications
Work with the client and EY stakeholders to understand client business requirements, priorities, and strategic direction to build Technology Transformation strategies and roadmap.
Key focus for Technology Transformation could include Enterprise IT Transformation, Cloud and Data Transformations.
Architect the end-to-end solution by choosing the right technologies and platforms
Develop architecture standards, principles and guidelines for the enterprise; govern enterprise-wide portfolio of systems / platforms, quality of software getting delivered and function as guardian of the strategy and architecture to make sure that new initiatives comply with the set guidelines
Work with the Competencies and Practices to arrive at suitable project approach, estimate the project duration, staffing, and costs.
Work with the Delivery Governance team to analyze project delivery risks and mitigations.
Be a trusted advisor on innovation with ability to frame key business and technology trends within the context of the clients objectives. Ability to identify the potential implications and impacts of the associated trends.

Skills and Experiences

20+ years of experience in Technology Consulting and System Integration projects
5-10 years experience in Cloud Transformation projects - involving Cloud Application Architecture, Cloud Native Application principles (AWS, Azure)
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture roles
Experience in Application Architecture & Design for Microservices in Cloud platforms (Spring boot, Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes), SQL/NoSQL databases)
Design and implementation of APIs, event streaming using KAFKA and batch based integrations
Implementation experiences with architecture and design patterns (e.g., Cloud, Microservices, Integration, Presentation).
Architecture and implementation experience for large scale highly available and scalable solutions or platforms based on microservices and cloud-native architecture
Expertise in at least one Cloud Hyperscaler (AWS or Azure preferred) with hands-on experience in PaaS components and certification (AWS or Azure)
Experience in DevSecOps processes, automation and toolchain
Good experience on security and infrastructure architecture considering cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
TOGAF certification will be a plus
Experience in any of these sectors will be a plus - Travel & Hospitality
