Experience: This interview was completely a behavioral plus a situation based interview. Interviewer asked about various situations and asked me what and how I would react to or manage those situations.





Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: This round was a mix of PI questions (mostly resume based) and small cases. Some case questions asked were

•What is the market size of golf equipment in South Africa?

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: This round was again a mix of PI questions and cases. Some case questions asked were
•What is the market size of lighting fixtures in Middle-East?
•How would you devise a market entry strategy in Middle-East for a US based lighting equipment manufacturer?
•How would you reduce the cost of inbound logistics at an automotive facility?

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: This round was mostly to check fitment. A lot of personal questions were asked. Additionally some cases were asked too
•How will you improve the efficiency of Kendriya Vidyalayas (I was a student here, so this question). Develop a linear program to achieve this. (Again due to my background)
•List 10 different uses of a refrigerator for an Eskimo?
Tips: Be very clear about the question “Why PRTM”? This will come in all the rounds.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test had three sections:VerbalQuantsReasoning
Duration: 60 minutes
Total Questions: 50-60

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Hypothetical problems. Asked lot of questions from projects mentioned in Resume. Moslty Infra. /DDP.

Guesstimate problems. Approach is important, not the answer.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Asked general HR questions, like the one mentioned above.
Case Study:- wanted to know how I am going to approach a problem which was happened recently in Trissur PPP. Other than obvious solution.Any hypothetical problems occurring in the projects can be asked.

General Tips: For Core.:- Learn Basics. Put only core projects in resume.
Non Core:- Knowledge & Communication skills are most important. More Emphasis on PoR, Extra Curricular, NGO work etc.


First year – Put fight. Change the Branch. Possibly EE or CS. Rest all are same.
Second /Third year- Decide whether you want to work in CORE or non Core and start work accordingly.

Experience: Candidates were given 5 minutes to think. 1minute to present their views and discuss and reach a group conclusion by the end of 10 minutes

Experience: Mostly questions were asked about the conclusion received in the GD and were asked to justify.

General Tips: Try to be a part of discussion groups like the Colloquium in institute.Practice Case study Actively.Keep calm when presented with unknown questions in HR.Smart responses are more than sufficient.

Experience: There were three interviewers in the panel and interview went for about 50 minutes. As I entered the interview room, they started shelling of questions, and their most of the questions was from the answers that I was giving. They asked me some stress giving questions and I gave the answer in a manner that they started laughing.
Tips: Be precise, because interviewers will ask questions based on your answers. Completely go through the profile of the company and how can you relate it your work field. Do not try to lie about anything but yes "Intelligent bluffing" is o.k if you are good at it but NOT ALWAYS. Look at the eyes of interviewers who asked you the question. 



Maintain a stress free face with a smile when they ask question.



Have a glass of water before entering and enter with a cheerful face and wish the interview panel.

Experience: It was a telephonic interview and the HR asked me questions mostly related to my course project in which I used Monte Carlo Simulation and why I don't want to go for PhD by saying I have good academic records.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: CGPA cut-off was 7.5 but later they allowed other students too.No tests but a GD is done to shortlist students for interview. They give up to 5 minutes, to think and 10 more minutes to come to a conclusion.Last year one of the topics was 'Discuss strategies followed by CCD'.
Tips: Soft skills are important.Prepare for quant and do attend the mock GDs and other activities organised by the placement team.

Round: Interview
Experience: Asked to justify GD conclusions.Importance is given to your conversing skills and the ability to convince others.
Tips: Know your resume inside out. Panellists do ask about it.HR interviewers like to hear something smart.
