Experience: technical questions(java+selenium+SQL)

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: The students were selected as per their jobs roles, last degree, streams/subjects.
For example(People for business analyst job profile should have an accounts, finance background) Normally engineers were not shortlisted as they believed that now they are only looking for students with normal finance or accounts knowledge, in future if they have jobs for engineers they will be back.
Tips: If you have done your graduation in accounts, finance , or BBA its a great opportunity for you.

Experience: muApt was conducted by CoCubes, an online assessment platform.
There were 42 questions related to general aptitude, logical reasoning and personality, merged under one section.
Personality based questions were from articles shared by muSigma recruitment team few days before muApt.

Round: Essay Writing
Experience: We were asked to write about our life experience!

Round: Group Activity
Experience: Our topic was "To develop a custom recommendation engine for Amazon"
Our group had 7 members. We were provided with a blank sheet to structure out points.
I started the discussion with setting the real objective for the discussion.
For example: Amazon wants to generate more revenue through this given engine. So, the baseline would be "recommending the right thing to the right person & generating more revenue"

Next thing we did, was to layout the structure/parameters we wanted to discuss.
Followed by a normal discussion of each parameter, there were sometimes when group discussion was getting off track.
Then, It was the right time for me to show my leadership skills. I re-read our real objective to bring the discussion back on track.
The discussion went smooth. Each and every member contributed their best.
In the end, the moderator asked me to summarise the points.

Experience: MuApt test consists of questions based on Quant, Critical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning. The questions are generally based on time & works, percentages, data sufficiency which can be solved easily if you have practiced earlier. English section comprises of grammar, fill in the blanks and RCs.Critical thinking section includes questions related to visual thinking and visual representation. The test is not very difficult. After you give the MuApt, you will get a score which will determine if you're eligible for the next round.
Tips: You can practice quants from RS Aggarwal boom or from indiabix.com.
Total Questions: 55

Round: Video Synthesis
Experience: MuApt test consists of questions based on Quant, Critical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning. Round: HR Interview
Experience: In the Video Synthesis round you are shown a video and you are supposed to write the underlying message and not the summary of the video clip is which is about 10 mins long.
Tips: You aren't allowed to take notes during the video, so pay attention to what's going on, but always keep an eye out for the underlying message. It's better to write the synthesis in points rather than writing a paragraph.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: The main motive of this round is to test two main things - your thinking process, and the way you interact in a team.
Tips: Firstly, take your time to understand the topic clearly and think of sone good points. You should wait for your turn to speak patiently and also try to be a good listener during the GD round. Nod your head in agreement occasionally, but never shake it in disagreement.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: You might have one interview wherein you are asked technical questions based on your major/department and one wherein you are asked to solve puzzles or a case study.I was given a case study during this round. The main aim of the interviewer is to see what is your approach to solve the given problem.
Tips: Being calm and relaxed will help but also be confident.

Round: Aptitude test
Experience: It had quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, reading comprehension questions, questions to access one's behavioral aspects (these don't affect ones score) and also one data related case study question.
The questions were pretty basic and doable, the only catch being the time limit and the sectional cutoff for each section.
Tips: Ensure you attempt questions from each section to clear sectional cutoff for each round.


Round: Video Synthesis
Experience: A video of the company's? founder speaking on company's philosophy was played. Candidates were asked to jot down what the video says as per their own understanding
Tips: No need to give detailed description of what was said in the video. Jotting down the key message from the video works (this differs from person to person, which is absolutely fine)

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Shortlisted candidates from video Synthesis round were sent in groups of 6-7 for GD in separate rooms. My group had some aggressive speakers. I spoke a fair number of times whenever I could.
Tips: Don't counter argue someone's opinion pointing at them directly or looking at him. Don't get too aggressive and hold your temper. Use body language (hand gestures, voice modulation, etc) to gather attention.
Duration: 20 minutes

Skills: Ability To Think Out Of The Box, Communication And Confidence, Knowledge About The Company

Round: Test
Experience: An MCQ paper with the aforementioned sections. Questions were logical, intuitive, and interesting, promoting out of the box thinking.
Tips: Practice quant questions and logical puzzles for a week or so, and don't waste time on a single question
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Questions: 45

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Round table discussion on the same, everybody got a chance
Tips: Don't be afraid to interject, but be polite and courteous at all times and do not interrupt anyone
Duration: 20 minutes
