Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I had a terrible experience with Rose International's hiring process. My first HR interview was on February 12th, followed by a second-round interview the same day with a Group Lead and an Account Manager. The interview went well, and I was told I'd receive feedback the next day (February 13th). However, there was complete silence—no email, no text, no call.

On February 17th (Monday), I suddenly received an email requesting a video introduction, which I uploaded promptly, assuming I was moving forward in the process. But after hours of waiting with no response, I called HR directly, only to have my call ignored. I then emailed the Group HR Lead for an update—again, no response.

Seeing this lack of communication, I sent LinkedIn connection requests to everyone involved. The HR finally accepted my request on February 18th and replied hours later, saying she was "about to call me" but hadn't received any updates since the US team’s decision-maker was on leave until Thursday. She assured me I was still under consideration, which seemed promising. Later that day, I received an email from the Group HR Lead stating, "Please wait for this week."

By Friday, February 21st, I called HR again—no response. I then emailed the Group HR Lead following up, but received no reply.

On February 24th (Monday), at 2:46 PM, I sent an email to HR expressing my disappointment in their unprofessionalism and lack of communication, especially since I had no other job offer in hand. I kept the Group Manager and Group HR Lead in CC.

Later that evening (around 7 PM), I received three missed calls from HR, but my phone was off. I called her back the next day at 2 PM, and she informed me that she had been sick since Saturday (which is understandable). However, what she said next was shocking—she claimed that the Group Lead Manager assumed I was more into Bench Sales rather than Recruitment, even though I have never worked in Bench Sales! She further speculated that this excuse was likely given because they didn’t have the budget to hire me.

This experience was a complete waste of my time. If they had already decided I wasn’t the right fit, why string me along for a whole month? The lack of professionalism, transparency, and communication was disappointing.

I do NOT recommend applying to Rose International unless you enjoy waiting indefinitely with zero clarity.
