Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The Interviewer focused on understanding my knowledge and experience on the Sub-Contracts work domain for which I was interviewed. I have been asked many questions about the current role(at that point of time), specific experience related to FEED & EPCIC Projects, Experience at Project & Offshore Sites. Interviewer also enquired about the negotiation & cost saving initiatives in my current role which were mentioned on my CV. I was also quipped about specific experience in working under the pressure of project cost & delivery timelines and pressure situations where in it was required to demonstrate special skills to handle a particular situation along with live examples about the specifics. It was 2 rounds of interview by the reporting managers mostly concerned about testing skills & knowledge gained through experience in my particular domain. I was also asked about reasons for looking at Job Change.

I faced the interview without any expectation on the outcome as I was still employed comfortably with a reputed multi-national at the time of this interview. I have prepared myself thoroughly on the concepts related to my domain as well as the point to point explanation of the KPI's stated in my CV if asked for explanation which helped a lot. It was suggested by one of my friends to be prepared for STAR Technique(Situation, Task, Action, Result) for any live cases handled by me and questions came from the interviewer on similar lines which were answered comfortably.

As I faced the interview well prepared and no botheration on the outcome has helped me face it with less anxiety, hence this might be assumed as reason for successful selection.
