Notice Period Issues
My new employer wants me to join by 8th Jan, my current employer is not leaving me till 24th which is a long time.
I requested them to reduce notice period but they denied, what should I do?
Can I join new company will 2 weeks are left to complete notice period in current company? can new company know about this?
How can I tackle and get out of this situation?

Agar aap 2 weeks ke baad join karte ho toh you can inform the new company but they might be concerned about your commitment

Talk to your new employer about your situation. Some companies allow joining with pending notice periods if you commit to resolving it soon. Have you tried this? 🤔

It’s tricky! Many companies verify employment details during background checks😅😅

Is buying out your notice period an option?🤷♂️🤷♂️ Some companies allow you to pay for the remainder of your notice period to leave early.
Have you explored this?

Did you have any discussions around pending leaves? If that's being encashed, you may be able to negotiate and request for early release.
Also, have a discussion with the hiring team -HR, if they're OK to either provide and exception and delay your joining by 2 weeks.

Mostly MNCs ask for release date via email so better should keep everything clear.
Ask for buy-out option to current org and tell your new company to pay you the amount the moment you join them.

Best course is to delay the joining date anyhow. The new company will also appreciate you not leaving your current boss hanging. And you also need to maintain good relations with your current employer as they will also be providing you with the experience letter.

My friend 1st complete the notice period after that you join your new company and proper inform to HR and new company manager who have taken your interview.
If you not complete the notice period. You get a abscond tag in your experience.
So very patiently take your decision as a employee.

You can request new company and better to keep multiple offers so wont get into trouble if new company deny to postpone joining
