Experience: The cgpa criteria was 6.0 .Around 70 people were giving the test from instrumentation background.In this round 50 questions were of quant and 50 questions were tecnical. so i prepared for some core subjects like industrial instrumentation, process dynamics, control systems, some questions were from thermodynamics.. basic questions from sensors and signal conditioning and measurements.. Quant covers the chapters of train problems,time and distance, time and work, SI , profit and loss , percentage, averages, age problems, boats and streams, log questions, Mixture problems, ratio and proportion, partnership probl, perm and comb , prob.Actually during the test they mainly focus on quant section. For preparing the results of the first round Quant section is considered more than the tecnical section . They shortlisted 21 students from instrumentation branch.After this was an interview round.

Experience: It was my first experience of my interview. I was very nervous about it because it was my first one. But i told myself to remain calm and went inside. He greeted me well and asked me to take a chair. He then asked me to tell about my family. I told about it. Then he started asking that why i took instrumentation and not any other branch. He then asked about my college activities.Then he started asking me tecnical instrumentation questions like if we want to measure this part which sensor we will use or what instrument we will use here. He then named some sensors and asked me the principle behind it. He also asked about my 2 months training in schneider. The interview went for 20-25 mins . After that we waited for the result. They took 5 people and offer letter was given the very next day in the morning.
Tips: You need to confident enough when you speak. When he ask you a question take a 5sec break think about it and then speak.

Round: Test
Experience: There was initially a aptitude test and later in second section it was technical test. Technical test mostly consists of topics related to turbo machinery for mechanical.
Tips: Good knowledge of turbo machinery and thermodynamics will help to clear the round.
Duration: 1 hour

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: This round consisted of both technical and HR. The technical questions are more or else covered all the topics of mechanical. But mostly related to turbo machinery. The interview started with introduction of myself and later was more about technical knowledge. Firstly I was asked to explain about my interns and curriculum project work. Later I was asked technical questions.
The interview lasted for about one hour. Later HR was along side and asked few questions. It was more about how open your are and to check your confidence.
Tips: Study more about turbo machinery.
Be open to all location and no preference for location ion
