Is salary hike on promotion is correct

I joined BT 2 years back as Level E Finance Analyst at 14 LPA, last year got increment in double digit Percentage, now got promoted to Level D Finance Specialist and got hike of 35% is this hike good, I have 6.5 years of experience. My profile domain is Finance (FP&A). Also looking at my work, I got mid year appreciation bonus as well apart from performance bonus which we get at time of appraisal. Also I have offer before my promotion from one of top 10 tech company globally of 50% hike on my Level E salary. My doubt is this, did I did right staying with my current organization.

I have received offer from persistent systems , Hr agreed for 50% hike on base pay. After reviewing the offer letter I got to know. I got 30% hike on basepay only. But variable pay is there. Here's the offer breakdown: Basic Salary: 10 lakhs per annum HRA: 4 lakhs per annum Leave Travel Allowance (LTA): 1 lakh per annum Conveyance Allowance: 60,000 per annum Other Allowances: 4.4 lakhs per annum Total Cash Component: 20 lakhs per annum or approximately 1.66 lakhs per month. Deductions: Provident Fund (PF): 1,800 per month (21,600 per annum) Gratuity: 4,000 per month (This is a long-term benefit and not a direct deduction from your monthly salary.) The offer letter states that PF, Professional Tax, and TDS are included in the CTC. I have some existing loans and plan to purchase items on EMI to potentially reduce my taxable income. Asking for a friend - I need help to choose between two offers

Hey everyone . A friend of mine just received two offers. One from an emergency start up in automobile space, and other an international telecom player. I am not able to decide which one should be considered. Option 1 - Startup 25 LPA Option 2 - 20 LPA Both the jobs are in gurgaon, option 1 is near my house, but option 2 provides food as an additional value. I am assuming work life balance would be better in Option 2, but not sure if I should give it that much importance right now. The person in consideration is a 29 year old professional with an MBA degree. Please share your thoughts.

I have been working in a small company where I am playing following role such as Project manager, Service Delivery Manager, Business development manager, Content creation for Digital marketing activities, Recruitments, Escalation manager, Operations manager and Office Administration. Overall I have got 9 years of IT exp, Currently, I am getting 15L in Coimbatore. I have not received any hike for this year. But I have been Incentive about 2L for the business that I brought. Can you please guide me, what approach I have to take to go up in my career ladder? Does MNCs looks for a specific role rather than these many roles?

My location change request for IBM has been approved and he has sent me the revised offer. Now he is asking me to put my resignation and send that mail to him asap. However my Capgemini offer is also in the pipeline for 21.5 LPA and I am yet to receive that offer. iBM's offer is 16.5L. I really need help in deciding. 1. Is it okay to ask for compensation revision to IBM when they have already approved for location change? Will it look too much to ask? 2. Which company do you suggest to join? IBM or Capgemini?
