My location change request for IBM has been approved and he has sent me the revised offer. Now he is asking me to put my resignation and send that mail to him asap.
However my Capgemini offer is also in the pipeline for 21.5 LPA and I am yet to receive that offer. iBM's offer is 16.5L. I really need help in deciding.
1. Is it okay to ask for compensation revision to IBM when they have already approved for location change? Will it look too much to ask?
2. Which company do you suggest to join? IBM or Capgemini? I am looking for long term commitment so job security and WLB. Please help! 🙏🙏🙏

Day to Day Office

I’ve noticed this happening more and more in my company and even in some big names where Gen Z employees just leave without any prior notice. Not even serving the notice period… sometimes not even officially resigning. Just disappearing.

And honestly, as millennials, we still feel guilty just writing the resignation email. So when we hear someone say “maza nahi aa raha” and leave without any process, it really makes us pause.

If you think HR doesn’t keep track of this, or it won’t matter later please know that it can affect future opportunities.

Leaving a job is totally okay. But leaving professionally and respectfully? That matters too. 

Let’s not burn bridges before we even cross them.

Gen Z, please stop ghost quitting

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me.

I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Career Advice

I work in Nagarro as a Software Engineer.
It's been a little more than 2 years since I joined as a fresher. Salary hikes are not impressive. Trash projects, nobody knows where the company is going. I've been working with really bad liars for the past 2 years. Everyone in this company seems to be treating it as their retirement plan because they offer work from home.

I work on python automation POCs and my team is one of those "Agile" ones with no direction. It can be renamed as "Team ADHD". Their plans change every 4 hours and none of them are engineers, they are consultants (manchilds or scammers would be a good word).

I'm also not able to get other job offers, Hardly got 2 interviews after hundreds of applications across multiple platforms. I do see other people getting better roles in better companies. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm attaching *one of my resumes* in case someone wants to help me out.

Is a 25lpa salary really “rich” anymore?

One of our colleagues was so enraged because our manager was forcing the employee to work a rotational shift and making him work hard.
We can all see he was too hard on him, but we thought it was part of work and our manager's behavior with everyone....... 
That person went so much into rage that he poisoned extra caffeine in our manager's coffee. He is old, suddenly collapsed after one drink, the blood pressure shooted but after drinking water, he got normal.............. That's what they call the taste of his own blood. Also, a colleague left the job after all this drama.

is it what managers want now? Waiting to get poisoned?
