You can have good work life balance. People expect working in TCS is easy life with less work. That's not completely true. You could get a project which has immense work load and sometimes maintaining to work life balance becomes difficult. But having said that, you will get a worm environment and can always choose to prioritise your mental health. Also, the leave policy is really very good. You will get tons of leaves which I was never able to completely utilise.

Dislikes

The salary and promotion structure of this company is like a government job. Until you have completed this amount of years in a single designation, you are not eligible for promotion. It makes no sense even if you have been the best performer and have been an immensely valuable component to the organisation. HRs are pretty slow to respond. They have no concrete information to give. They say vague things and you will really end up not expecting anything useful from them.

...d to depend management decisions if they only approve if it client requirements Most salary increment is low - (3-5%) annually based on your baisc salary. 600 rupees. No one in your team of senior will tell or explain about any problem solution(RCA) mostly I highly disappointed to work on TCS if some how I able to pay my EMI & food then i will definitely leave this organization Most of your senior will only always watching & finding your fault if they found then they will tell you even show you on the time of appraisal.

.... No other Private organisation can give you the job security that TCS provides. The only issue is that the yearly hike is very low so the package you are joining with is so tough to increase.

In simple words, not a good place to start your career with. Very little or no career growth opportunities are there. Salary increment is also minimal, but workload is low and you could have ample amount of free time.

Dislikes

Nothing much, because they give you less work hence they pay you low.
