...for months without the offer letter, leaving you in middle of nowhere. I lost 2.5months of salary in this move. Always ask for the offer letter first atleast take things in writing and resign later.

Poor growth opportunity, salary and benefits are not comparable to other consulting firms and the culture is demotivating. Not a great place to start your career honestly.

EY is an awesome organization to work with. Probably the best learning program any MNC offers, transparent, fair compensation, good work life balance if you deliver and work to plan. Drawbacks do exist from human perspective. However as an organisation, EY is indeed one of the best.

Dislikes

Practically speaking its a partner driven business. Irrespective of the company policy and benchmark, what partner and senior team thinks and wants is enforced. Its not bad however, this leads to favorism and conflicts sometimes. At that point it starts hampering growth.

Bad Work Culture. No work life Balance. There should be a two way feedback policy. Seniors Do not want to train the staff instead they need staff who are already trained to work on their clients.
