Work-life balance is not good and work is not equally distributed among the team members. Those who do good work get accounts and workload increases significantly, leading to no work-life balance. Uplers has promoted itself as the best place to work where annually they organise "workation" what they don't tell you is even if you dont want to go they will unofficially raise pressure. Going to the destination and coming back is your expense whether it is flight or train you have to bear. It's not 2-3 days but 7 days workation where your schedule will be screwed. You will not stay in any swanky place but the most reasonable and remote resort they have finalised which will be cut off from the city. Going out and about the city will be your expense. Food will be mediocre anything else you wish to order will be chargeable. They will force you to participate in group outings during this trip and then split the bill equally. In the end you will end up spending 20k+ from your own pockets and tag #uplersbestplacetowork on linkedin. 0 work culture or job security. Managers and mid management have lost their soul and humanity. Anyone is sick replace them. Anyone is pregnant replace them. EXTREME MICROMANAGEMENT! They track the laptop hours and do not care if the work is done or not. This level of tracking is suitable for Customer support and not in marketing industry. HR was very biased and did not acknowledge or respond to many things which I had addressed during my tenure. They scammed me by saying there is paid sabbatical but after using my leaves they told me it was LOP.
