Personally in my department, most of the experienced people have left the organization because their suggestions weren't heard or the management was not playing to people's strengths. Specifically, after going remote, the company is less open to 'permanent solutions' and more looking for temporary fixes, which eventually doesn't work in the long run. I have to work 14 hours often to attend client calls and work late into the night. Managers do not value individuals' unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the time. I do receive appreciation emails from clients, but the managers often do not acknowledge them and it goes unnoticed during appraisals. We do have an L&D Department, but there have been very little to no training related to the field in which I'm working - the same goes for other departments. So you don't get much opportunity to upskill yourself. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes as these efforts also go unnoticed....Read More
