It is important to note that rate fluctuations of approximately ±$20 USD for similar work are common. The client-facing team at Turing could benefit from enhanced professionalism and communication. There is a perception that some team members may not engage collaboratively with developers, which could impact team dynamics. Instances of unprofessional communication and a tendency to shift blame for project setbacks have been observed. Improving accountability and fostering a supportive work environment would be beneficial. Client is sometimes is provided with LLM generated SFT datasets and RLHF. Racial bias exists in hiring developers and promotion. Most of you will be used until replaced by developer of choice / race at same pay. Be ready to be fired anytime. No annual leaves / PTOs for contractors, however you will see Management enjoying Christmas holidays but asked to pull 2x work from Contractors during same period. Turing culture has deteriorated and doesn't look like it will be fixed anytime soon. Turing is just middle man enjoying wage arbitrage. I'll suggest LLM companies to open offshore offices to curate quality data sets than get manipulated by Turing.
