Nothing really. Some old timers are proud of themselves for no reason. They don't realise that their Rs. 14L/Yr job is actually worth 2Lakh in today's job market and literally any kid in 8th standard could do it.

Dislikes

This is where skilled misguided dreamers come to commit intellectual suicide. It's a trap for those who doesn't have confidence and self belief. You are mentally pressured to stay in the job by family, friends and colleagues.

It's a 9.30 to 9.30 job. You do the math. And its six days a week and is often asked come in that 1 day weekend. And there are frequent deputations.

Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile.
