Continuous learning opportunity, promotion opportunity and work culture and moreover security of job are the major plus points.

The opportunity to work in preferred specialised seats is not available to all. Due to this, persons without experience handle those seats leading to delay happen and sometimes losses on account of this. Family tree concept should be introduced.

Working in SBI gives excellent job security but one needs to be satisfied with average salary package that is offered to PSU bank employees. SBI gives a good exposure in different fields on job learning alongwith a very good training culture. It also gives opportunities to rise to nre heights in once carrier. Among its peers (PSU banks), it is probably the best place to work.

Compensation package. There is not much motivation factor for employees should one be non performer.

I had worked with the bank for more than 38 years in India and abroad. While my overall experience with the bank was satisfactory if i look at my batchmates, It could have been more rewarding but for some promotional misses.

It was quite challenging. My last assignment at the Corporate Centre was quite exciting in the sense that I was responsible for monitoring the Credit Portfolio of the entire Bank.

There is enough freedom to work but at a cost of carrier. Bank has excellent corporate policy but while executing those, there is gap between cup & lips. Quality needs to be promoted across the length & breadth. There is no support from the Bank during the lock down even at a LHO Centre.

I like every aspect of the Bank. I may not be able to negotiate between corporate goal & individuals desire.
