The primary reason is job security, then comes work-life balance. There's a fixed work timing which most people follows. Work pressure is also manageable.

Dislikes

Transfer policy needs to be flexible. Work environment also needs to be looked at. 5-day working policy should be implemented.

Company culture, there is no set criterias for work, specialisation doesn't matter, new ideas will not be entertained. Of course, lot of politics being a PSB. It's bank and not an company. Growth is almost zero. Luck require to get a decent project which has good growth but 1 out of 50 will get this chance. No satisfaction and no standards for work. No flexibility in work timings. Job security. Job location. Staff benifits like petrol allowance, furniture allowance, staff loan options are good. There are lots of competent and polite staffs.

Dislikes

Top management is less competent in IT technology and decision making. Beurocracy. Most of the people are less polite and difficult to communicate

Depends on department and department heads. Some department have shifts so they have 8hrs working. Some departments may ask to sit late hours and on holidays
