I have been working with Starlit Ability Enhancement Services Pvt Ltd since February 2020. From the month of September I was sent on leave without pay, as I didn't have any client. Later I was given an opportunity of being a replacement teacher for 2 weeks. But other than that there was no work Available.

The work profile is good. I got a lot of experience working with my clients in all domains. Salary and reimbursement are paid on time. The senior team is very helpful and good. Everything is very well managed in the COVID situation and ensure proper safety. The company director, Soumya Mam is also very nice and approachable.

I had applied for the job and got a response from the HR instantly. Being a fresher, I was very nervous about my first job but the Team was very supportive with regard to my silly doubts and confusions. Also, every alternate Saturday is working, where a meeting is held at the office. All the professionals come together to share ideas and come up with strategies that could work out during a roadblock with the client. This is backed by the Starlit Team. The entire team is very approachable and the meetings are always a perfect balance of fun and seriousness at the same time. They also give a chance to the professionals to conduct workshops during the Saturday meetings. This training has personally helped me develop my skill. There is a transparency for all organisational protocols and structure. Hence, everyone is well aware of the policies during their joining. Starlit has a well detailed policy regarding expectations from the employees. They have a well structured policy for Holidays and Working hours. When leaves are put in at the last moment, the Admin Team does not appreciate it. Keeping in mind that we work with special children, I personally feel this is fair enough as the client, parents and teachers tend to suffer when a sudden leave is put in by the professional. I had joined starlit as fresher with minimum skill sets to work with children with special needs , however training that starlit has provided has helped me to develop my skill to another level . From developing patience to working in a very structured environment they train you in every aspect of the profession. The intervention team at the starlit works very hard in development of the professionals and they ensure each professional perform to best of their capacity. Another plus point of the company is all the Saturday meetings that teach you more than your area of working , the discussion in the meetings are very helpful for career growth. This organization is amazing in terms of skill development however there does not seem to be work life balance , after almost 9 hrs of work you have calls to attend either from client or from seniors in the company and sometimes both of them , aprt from that changes in the companies structure are quite often and one needs to adopt to it quickly. Since there is no particular office work and one has to travel at client location it sometimes is quite hectic to give quality work after 40 mins travel . There are lot of documents that need to be updated weekly and which sometimes seem to be too much of work. There are irrational expectations of the clients from professional which are not part of their profile and organisation does not seem to do anything about it. They expect the professional to agree with what client wants and work accordingly. Overall this organization is good however their structure needs some changes. My work is interesting however it is mentally tiring , I barely get time for myself as all you have after coming back from home is planning for other day about clients or attending the calls from company . It is repetitive sometimes .

Admin team is poor. They force you to work a lot. No compensation given to employees when they want to take leaves. Overall HR policy is also very poor
