I loved working in Starlit as the staff and the people there were amazing. They were always supportive and I learnt a lot in my career. Even the trainings given were very apt and learnt a lot of things there

I have been working with Starlit Ability Enhancement Services Pvt Ltd since February 2020. From the month of September I was sent on leave without pay, as I didn't have any client. Later I was given an opportunity of being a replacement teacher for 2 weeks. But other than that there was no work Available.

The work profile is good. I got a lot of experience working with my clients in all domains. Salary and reimbursement are paid on time. The senior team is very helpful and good. Everything is very well managed in the COVID situation and ensure proper safety. The company director, Soumya Mam is also very nice and approachable.

Starlit Services is an extremely dedicated team of professionals and shadow teachers. Right from joining, to training, to parent meeting and throught your working with your client, the intervention team is very hands on and supportive of all the professionals. The way everything is coordinated and operated is excellent, which ensures the growth and progress of the young clients each shadow teacher is working with. In addition, continuous training ensures that the strategies used by the teachers are tried and tested. A great learning experience for freshers keen to work with special needs children. One thing I'd like to highlight about Starlit services in the current situation of lock down due to Covid-19 is that, in the initial days of the outbreak (before the lock down), there were official mails sent to all their professionals detailing the precautionary measures to be taken during their sessions. In addition, a very generous amount was reimbursed to each and every employee to buy the necessary equipments like masks and sanitizers. Those travelling were specifically advised not to take public transport and they were reimbursed all their travelling expense. The work of a shadow teacher in itself is of great responsibility. The company rules require one to be very professional with the goals set for each month, reporting of each session and filling in generic reports for the child you are working with. This may become taxing sometimes. But there is always someone there to support and help you with it.

Starlit is one of those organisations which provides a hands-on experience and learning curve for those who want to work with childrens having special needs. I have come across colleagues from Team Starlit and it's amazing to have meetings with them where you have fun learning. The Admin and Intervention team is very prompt and helpful whenever you approach them for any concerns. Here we have trainings, meetings and workshops conducted by professionals which would enhance your knowledge and skills to another level. Travel completely depends on the client openings they have ensuring logistical travel. The regular meetings and trainings that are provided by Starlit is the best platform to learn more and improve your skill sets. I had applied for the job and got a response from the HR instantly. Being a fresher, I was very nervous about my first job but the Team was very supportive with regard to my silly doubts and confusions. Also, every alternate Saturday is working, where a meeting is held at the office. All the professionals come together to share ideas and come up with strategies that could work out during a roadblock with the client. This is backed by the Starlit Team. The entire team is very approachable and the meetings are always a perfect balance of fun and seriousness at the same time. They also give a chance to the professionals to conduct workshops during the Saturday meetings. This training has personally helped me develop my skill. There is a transparency for all organisational protocols and structure. Hence, everyone is well aware of the policies during their joining. Starlit has a well detailed policy regarding expectations from the employees. They have a well structured policy for Holidays and Working hours. When leaves are put in at the last moment, the Admin Team does not appreciate it.
