Exploring end to end software development life cycle like requirement gathering, proposing solutions to clients, analyzing & designing, coding, testing, debugging, deployment & support. Not many companies give you an opportunity to be on every stage of our product. I saw many software engineers who come from bigger companies struggle to work here. Since they never worked for end-to-end role and they had BA for requirement gathering, Architect for designing, Technical lead for telling software engineers what do write, QA that too various teams specific to manual, automation, load, stress, security testing etc. So working in corporate for many years will make to an expert in any one role or few more. Whereas working at SmartConnect Technologies makes you an all rounder who is capable to work across any level and can manage clients expectations by building his own team like him/her in a short span of time. Obviously you need to adapt and quickly learn in fast moving delivery every time. So I enjoyed working here. You evaluate candidates based on skills. Be open to tell them that there could be a culture misfit. As you expect people to deliver in less time and also expect them to perform at all levels of software development life cycle. Hence be clear with new hires before they join.

I was delivering a solution for BFSI client. You will be surprised to know that their clients are big companies who have no idea on what they want. Yes that's the case. So as a Developer/Technical Lead/Consultant you must be more clever than their clients

Since this is product company they are open to innovations and easily adapts with the new technologies. There are opportunities to learn new things, technology and do research on the new things. Project Manager Mr. Pintoo is nice guy who gave a complete freedom about researching on any new things.

1) No work life and personal life balance. They are expecting the employee to be available 24x7. 2) Project Manager since he is technically good can understand complexity of the task however business managers are horrible who give the false commitment to the clients which results in the stringent deadline always. 3) Senior management is always abusing to lower management.
