Remitbee is transitioned from my startup to a matured company. I have given responsibility to identify various technological advancement that can be brought to the platform. So far it's going good. Main stakeholders are showing interest in my work which keep me motivated. Fast growing can many and it has large customer base in Canada to support its growth.

Lack of Support for Maternity Leave and Toxic Work Environment I worked at this company and my experience was deeply disappointing. After 8 months, I applied for maternity leave. Almost immediately, I was put on a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) without any valid reason, clearly a tactic to avoid paying for maternity leave by pushing me out. Despite this, I completed the PIP and was forced to work during my maternity leave. I was only granted 2 months of leave, after which I was made to work 4 hours a day during the rest of my maternity leave, which was extremely difficult for me. When I returned to work full-time, the situation worsened. I was harassed by a colleague, and when I reported this to management, instead of helping, they turned against me. The situation escalated to the point where they decided to terminate my employment. Shockingly, my colleagues who supported me by standing against this toxic behaviour were also fired one by one, with the organization citing trivial reasons. This company blatantly disregards employee rights, especially when it comes to maternity leave, to avoid paying what is owed. Biased harrasment management They have strict policy for harrasment in the company but they won't follow. If anyone complaint about the harrasment they will simply support the person won't take any action against the complaint raised. Even many employees raised complaint on this but there is no solution. Which indicates toxic work environment. Micromanagement No work-life balance
