It is a new and growing company. They are hiring incrementally.

Dislikes

The tech teams are not well organised and slightly unprofessional. An unsaid hiring rule is anybody laid off from a company is not to be considered while hiring, without any consideration of the track record or the reasons for lay off. The salary ranges posted by employees for a 5 year SE3 po sition are around 75-80 LPA fixed, but the recruiters try to undermine the value and quote an extremely low number, sometimes using extremely demeaning tone of language</mark>....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
