Because of management and their handling of resources making the company a bad choice to work. Some teams are good and most of the teams are with work pressure. They barely given good hikes. In consulting side it's about the managers and management the teams wellbeing is dependent. Some managers choke(in a corporate way) the team and dump the work to limited resources for their good name in management as they can maximize profits by minimising employees in a team. They never care about employees interest it's again about the managers interest. More hierarchy in team help you to not gets notice, which is good when you don't give 100% and bad for who put good effort in the project

No new learning, old tech, repeating non- tech work for tech employees, manager will keep you busy with documentation until you don't raise you concern if you raise the will give you work but they will expect you to work by extending working hour

No extra activities apart from home to office and office to home. No fun activities, no team activities, no team lunch nothing, so be ready with that.

Even if you perform well, you may not receive a salary increase 3. Variable pay is low, ranging from 40 - 60% 4. Lack of communication with the line manager, as your project manager and line manager may be different

Product company I have never been on bench in the last 17 Years No need to run looking for projects. Projects will automatically take you Lots of exposure in terms of direct customer requirements giving us insight of how customer uses our product/customizations

No Work life balance No demarcation between Imple and Support Teams which makes life miserable for the resources as they end up handling both in parallel Yearly Appraisals are delinked from hikes and hikes are not yearly. No preset frequency. May or may not happen. Even the leadership Team will not know if a hike is coming or not
