I am an Associate Consultant in Oracle Financial software services (OFSS). I am currently in a team where project is built on Java Spring boot but I have nothing to do there. I am always in Production support doing tasks that client says, sending mails , altering as client says.
There is no technical development I see.
Is it same with other OFSS mates?
Should I stay here and continue?
It's just 8 months me being joined.

Day to Day Office

Hey all

Recently I moved to another organisation to my surprise the entire work environment is too different from what I have expected.

And I need to work under My DM who is right in front of us who does micro monitoring so much and it was completely new to me.

Even seniors were saying be careful with him as 7-8 people recently have moved out of the company due to some differences and here I have joined a month ago and Heard more stories about my DM.

How to work and not get focused into him as recently he sent mail to HR for another person due as a bad performer.

Idk how I'll manage here as of now I just want to leave this company within 6-9 months.

If I do will it create any bad impression on me during HR as I just switched 2 companies in less than 4 years even though my package isn't that great!!

Toxic Work Environment

PIP = Corporate death sentence. 
I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM.
Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down.
My Survival Jugaad?
Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? She agreed. Trst unlocked.
In meetings, I nodded like a bobblehead. "Ma’am, truly visionary! Aap to corporate Rani Lakshmi Bai ho!" Smiles = Achieved..
Emotional Connect – She loved dogs. I updated my DP with one. "Ma’am, my dog wakes me up for meetings!" Bond = Secured.😉
The Final Jugaad – She looked stressed. "Ma’am, even Dhoni takes a break!" She smiled. Game over.
After a few months "Congrats on your Promotion!"
Moral? Hard work is good. Smart work is better. But jugaad? Boss, that’s the best!

Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

I am java backend dev and my current tech stack is Java, spring boot, microservices, restful APIs, mysql, dsa(400+ problems in leetcode) Have knowledge in kafka as well but no hands on experience.

My current CTC is 7Lpa

No frontend or cloud experience. I got the above offer(hyd location,hybrid model). I have already resigned in my company, attended few interviews but failed in all. Should I prepare more rigorously? Or be satisfied it's a good package for my current exp?

YOE: 7 yrs
