Overall the company is good, but there is no chance for you to grow. The managers are incompetent and they favour their friends who are also not competent. They will not let you work properly, work distribution is absurd, no proper training, no KT sessions and the ones who get promoted are either done after 3, 4 years of actual workbecause is 3z 4 years or the ones who are manager close. In my team specially the job designation and the work does not at all match, for example on of my team members recently got promoted to Sr. Data Engineer Analyst but for the past 5 to 7 years I have seen him work only on testing and QA stories that too on a manual way. He literally has a document to do all that steps even when and where to click the button. Its just because of his designation he js getting paid well which was made possible because he is a close friend of my manager who helped him get the job earlier. My manager as of today doesn't even know anything about Data Engineering and he is at Sr Data Engineering Manager positions. Such incompetency....Read More

Target based attendance Chart based target like 25-35 charts target per day. If you don't achieve it you will not be paid for that day. Managers and gtl are in handingloves with each other for this scam. No promotion, no growth at all like 2 year experienced coder get the same salary as newly joined trainee fresher. Incentive modelis also very bad. 2 year experienced coder get 16k salary which is way below to the market pay. If your giving your 8-9 hr for something and in return you are getting unpaid, this is nothing but new age slavery. Now Optum is not good place to work as there is no promotion salary increment is also very poor, work presure also reached high, people are working in mentally pressurised by management, and at end of the year manager says this year there are no promotion even you completed tasked assigned and reached your beyond capacity employees are very dissatisfied in optum.
