Now Optum is not good place to work as there is no promotion salary increment is also very poor, work presure also reached high, people are working in mentally pressurised by management, and at end of the year manager says this year there are no promotion even you completed tasked assigned and reached your beyond capacity employees are very dissatisfied in optum.

1. No salary hike and variable pay since last 3yrs, if you get average rating. This is shocking as these things happen in service based companies mostly. 2. Canteen food is unhealthy and expensive. 3. NP of 90days is a setback for looking at outside opportunities.

Great place to work on. Good inhouse oportunity to grow in ladders and they also pay 50000 per year for unskilled yourself. They provide day care facilities to all employees for their kids till 6 years of age.

Dislikes

I would say every organization have some ppl who downgrade the work culture (both management and employees) but overall it's a great place to work. I believe shift timings can be reduced to 9 hours that helps more work life balance.

No appraisal no hikes no promotion the management was not good they are not least bothered about their employees. Head office was in gurgaon but those people develop their self they will not give much importance to Hyderabad employees A part from IT sector if you randomly ask with any operational team you will get the same answer their is politics. The manager will change every year optum will provide a survey every year how the organisation is running for every employee but the manager will call us and they will take the control from us and fill the forms and give rating 5/5 for the organisation and for themself .If any onshore people is reading this please make this issue it's very bad for the organisation...Read More
