Novartis is one of the best organisation to work with, people with Novartis are very intelligent and supportive, I feel, if anyone wish to learn business acumen and moral responsibility together they should work in Novartis for onces.

Dislikes

Cons: The pharmaceutical industry can be highly regulated, and employees at Novartis may face a complex and sometimes challenging regulatory environment. Like many large corporations, Novartis has a complex organizational structure, which may lead to bureaucratic processes and slow decision-making.

This person will never support you, he wants you to work 24*7 be available all the time and will never appreciate your efforts. The Leadership at Novartis Hyderabad is totally biased and you will never be able to survive or grow in Novartis untill you start buttering and be in office all the time no matter what, at Novartis work is not there priority apperance is if you go there and be there till 12 and do nothing you might get best appraisal and promotion soon. Good company to join for, great perks like Spark points, unlimited sick leaves, flexible work timings, great appraisal in the range of ~10%(atleast for analyst roles).

Dislikes

You will have to work on multiple projects simultaneously and it gets pretty hectic with multiple urgent requests comes from multiple stakeholders. A lot depends on the management of your team as well.

The culture is very bad, I love the company's principles but these are not followed at the root level. Pathetic managers who are self centered and don't really mentor. Professional behavior is no where visible in the team. They make you loose your confidence in yourself.

People once worked in Novartis are habituated with working to confined tasks and can't explore work beyond comfort zone. Outside company culture can be disaster for the people associated for long term with Novartis. Once company cuts down the head count, difficult to get another job, due to confined work area knowledge and exposure.
