1) Akums Plants i.e. beautiful premises looks and my favourite Plant no. 3 and Upadhrish. 2) Everyone can openly meet with company owner at any time i.e. as persons meet on diwali and holi festival. 3) Company inside interior, flour marbles, furnitures, etc. 4) Award ceremony by giving long time service awards with gifts to staff who completed 5, 10 and 15 years of service with akums group. 5) Festival celebrations in premises and Yearly family function celebration at rishikul ground by inviting all staff and workers with their family. 6) Akums involvement in social activities i e. CSR, health and education society. 7) Salary provided to employees on or before time. 8) Jobs provided to retired persons as consultant and will not terminate/release even they are disable to work. 9) Complaint boxes installed in every plant for employees. 10) Different types of IT portals/tools and its updations from time to time i.e. My akums, Success factors, Lims, CMS, Mantra, SWS, Grievance portal, Gate pass/movement portal, Dak portal, leave applied from mobile, etc....Read More

Dislikes

1) Biggest problem of company parking area. In the morning, everybody upset for company parking due to space issue. Everybody in a hurry in evening and got late to reach home due to less availability of parking space. 2) There is a long lane of employees in some areas, that results time wastage and frustration in employees i.e. in our pure and cure canteen, employees stands long in lane for taking meals, waiting for plates, seats and waiting for spoons also. After eating lunch, again stands in lane for washing hands. During dutty off, again employee stands in lane for out punch. 3) At the time of In-Out duty, Some guards searching our admin staff as like they are thief. 4) In covid time, maximum companies given work from home to employees but akums not provided the same and those who were infected and not come in company due to covid, Company not given any type of waived off in salary. 6) During covid, appraisal not done to staff without any reason. Even company business running so good as it is pharmaceutical. 5) In my past years experience in akums, I observed company facilitates/supports AGM and above employees in such a manner as they are king. It results, Some of seniors thinks itself as they are the company owners and start mentally harassed to employees working under them. They always use director sir name to take work from employees and mentally harrassing the people. 6) Some department head's working since long in our company and they like only those employees in the department who are also working since long with them. They don't like newly joined person in their department and created politics and mental harassment with them, that results, professionals people left our organisation. My suggestion, Corporate HR should meet with individual employees once in every six month to know the on going running issues in the department. 7) Very Long time taken by company to do Promotions/appraisals to professional employee s. Resulting, professional staff demotivate and left the organisation. 8) Employee who resigned near diwali, company not provided gift to those employees. 9) Company owner not meet to old employee who has resigned the company. Atleast to meet those who worked for the industry more than 10 years. 10) Company working timings, 10 Hours duty. In some department, Company provided 9 hours duty and in some plant 8.5 hours duty. Likes

Akums is one of the safest workplace for everyone especially female employees. Senior people are very supportive here and no one will judge you from your attire or physique. Your work and performance is everything. Performance Management System are good and focus on one-on-one interactions and appropriate resolutions of issues. Akums is a great place to work!

Dislikes

Although management is continuously work on vendor management and food quality improvement but still there are many things which require immediate improvement in canteens. I don't want to make it a dislike but I insist management to be attentive to these tiny issues too.
