Dislikes

People once worked in Novartis are habituated with working to confined tasks and can't explore work beyond comfort zone. Outside company culture can be disaster for the people associated for long term with Novartis. Once company cuts down the head count, difficult to get another job, due to confined work area knowledge and exposure.

Late promotion cycles. Promotion and salary hikes are given to people closer to management. Favouritism to department managers play key role here in development

The worst part within Novartis is the "Role Impact". Once your role is impacted, the company will kick you out without any redeployement opportunity.

People work in a frear ful work enviornment. Perception based culture. Colleagues do not trust each other. Internal office politics is at its peack. Management has no vision for employees. Management lies on the face. Performance apprisal is based on word of mouth. Extreme favoritism can be seen everywhere. Hire & fire policy. Lack of opertuinity to grow internally.
