Dear MD & CEO, if I rated 1 star for promotion and Job security, there is a reason behind; I have been allocated with Non-banking project(QGEBS) and I asked my manager (AP-1 Delhi) to either change the project or release to pool as that was not my area of interest. I joined Newgen after ICICI Bank. But he decided to put me on PIPand that was never closed. I have been asked forcefully to put paper, but I never resigned from my end. The action took by AP - 1 Delhi HR Team as on 18th December 23. LWD 19th December 23. 2. I dropped an email to Vice President of AP-1 Delhi, but never received a single response from her. 3. There is a reason behind, I never wanted to work with QGEBS client as during the UAT the vice President (Sunil) being un-professional & mis-behaved me. Hello forcefully asked me to show the MS Teams chats. I denied as that was against the Newgen policy. 4. Few days back, I received the mail from Recruitment Team, if interested to rejoin. Nothing, just a huge trap for freshers. Especially for the ones who are offered from college placements. I'm on my knees begging you all please don't accept any offer in newgen rather be unemployed.

You'll never get to learn new skills. They value only time, not how much work you did, they will just count no. of hours you sat in the office, whether you're working or not, doesn't matter.

I think apart from salary and variable pay everything is bad. They will ask a functional person to work on testing role. Put you any project they would feel like regardless of your skill set. The culture is also bad many senior mangers are in the company for ages.. People are there in the company for so long and they do whatever they want to do.

They give good appraisal/hike if you have worked dedicatedly for the project. I got an average hike of around 48%in first year and 35%in second year. They give opportunities to travel onsite, and work individually on different modules.

I you work good, like you're a team player can work in cross functional teams very smoothly, can work on weekends and even extended hours, then they'll burden up with more responsibilities. My department was not at all supportive in the last few months, management is pathetic and HR is of no use. I have gained a lot of knowledge and exposure working here, got opportunity to travel to 2 different countries in a span of 3 years and work solely. But my mental health has been compromised a lot. Everything. Monday to Friday WFO Saturday, Sunday WFH. You need to work beyond the work hours. All the credits of your work will be given to someone who is close to your manager. When your manager is close with a junior, Junior will be allowed to act as a manager. Full of politics. If you are deployed under such manager start looking for different project or company. There is variable pay in salary structure, but HR didn't tell me about VB they are fooling people around and they told me min 30 % hike but they only given me 15 % plus variable pay. BE AWARE OF SUCH SCAM. there is technology degrade over here they have hire me for Spring boot for one client but at client side they don't even use Spring, they use JSF & JSP.

Terrible work culture they think that employee should always be available for work after working hours at junior level also. They have clearly mentioned that they provide 5 work from home in a month but when we ask they said it is on approval of manager amd make excuses and ask for reason.
