NatWest provides job security and it's a good place.

We've leaves but only 1 to 2 person can take leave on the same day including sick leave which I don't find a good thing. They need prove for only one day sick leave if someone is feeling weak how it's possible to give prove of that only for one day.

Performance depends upon under which manager you are. Good thing is leaves are good. 8 days work from office criteria helps to stay at home too.

Dislikes

The scope of my responsibilities has grown significantly over time, but I feel that my compensation hasn’t been adjusted accordingly. With added tasks and higher expectations, I believe my salary should better reflect the increased workload and contributions I’m making to the team.

They try to invest in new technology. They work as one team, India teams are not treated separately.

Dislikes

Many people only talk and get promoted, actual work is not valued. They do not hire people at proper positions. they try to take experienced candidates and with high pay in lower grades and then later during appraisal cycle candidates do not get hike as they already cross the limit for that position.

- No Promotion/Appraisal for experienced employees until they buttering their managers or unit head. - No Learning, just doing the same job - No support from managers or top management when you are not medically fit to come to office and asking for working remotely, they forced you to resign if you not able to come to office.

During appraisal discussions, the management frequently justifies minimal increments by claiming that your salary is already above the industry benchmark—a statement far removed from reality. Over time, this persistent undervaluation can erode your motivation and hinder your professional growth. You may feel trapped by the rigid 90-day notice period policy, which not only limits your mobility but also causes you to lose touch with critical interview skills. The work culture leaves much to be desired. Managers often show little regard for employee well-being, fostering an environment where working excessively long hours is the norm. Webchat Dept. in chennai . Too much politics.. People licking management's shoes gets promoted to higher levels , where as the hardworkers stay in the same level and management tries to ditch them . Drug usage , alchaloic managers are allowed inside the office and when someone raises questions , they try and somehow get them fired. And they don't give a shit about employees personal life

Poor work life balance, they talk a lot about employee wel being but on the ground nothing visible significantly. The health insurance policy is not par to market standards.
