Dislikes

Old age promotion policy, purposely kept in place to delay promotions. They want the best tech in the industry, without paying for the best tech guys in the industry. The tech teams are disorganized, not a single tech leader, finance guys lead the tech projects without understanding the tech.

Process oriented and good company if you want to learn with decent salary hike upon switch. Be very careful when you are asking for joining bonus because they will attach certain period if you leave before then you need to pay back.

From learning prospective it is good but if you care about work life balance and long hours then you are not good fit for deloitte. Some people is so good but most of them are over ambitious they spent 10 to 15 hours and they expect the same from others as well. They creates toxic culture otherwise company is good.

The work culture is great. Some work pressure is there but where isn't, here the recognition for work is there. And additional perks are great on top of your package.

There are quite a lot of late nights to be put in as the devs are from India but business team and leads are from US.

With fifteen years of experience across multiple organizations, I have never encountered a company with such evident bias and favoritism as I have at Deloitte U.S. India. The work environment is highly hierarchical, where associates at lower levels often go unrecognized for their efforts. Even for minor achievements, one must produce extensive documentation and presentations just to gain visibility. The counselor structure, which is intended to support associates, falls short in providing any meaningful assistance.
