JPMC is a good brand name to work with. If you're in the right LOB with the right people above you, the opportunities you get can be very good. The company provides free transport facility which can be a boon if you're working in a city like Mumbai or Bangalore. Job security is great here.

Dislikes

The quality of work is really bad. In my case, I was promised new learning and technology, but ended up doing worse work than I was doing before joining this place. The so called "technically strong" VPs are just folks who know the ecosystem well and are not really good at tech. There's a lot of politics in the company. It has a very high number of people who have been around for more than 6-7 years and are either redundant outside of the company or have not been able to find jobs elsewhere. These folks gang up and make it difficult for new joiners to keep themselves relevant. While the pay is good, it is nothing compared to the trouble one goes through. The work life balance takes a toll on demanding days. You have to have a good networking skill to outshine others and should have a great negotiation skill deal with the pay structure.

Too much politics, Directors and MDs are actual cancer in the audit department. They are not moving and have rigid mindset. Running Audit department of the top most MNC bank like a lala company. Managers are often baised during appraisal times and you need to be very very careful during appraisal times as even ine single small mistake can be catastrophic and lead to termination if you are not in your manager good books.

There's little flexibility if you're required to go to the office every day. You must be there for the specified hours, which can be challenging, especially in cities Bangalore. Additionally, there's a lot of micromanagement involved
