The company policy is highly questionable, as it appears to be influenced primarily by the ED and VP. They seem to have unchecked authority and can terminate employees at will, often without prior notice. The workplace is plagued by poor management and toxic office politics. It was good at first, when I joined, good WFH benefits, WFH equipment reimbursement. Good culture.
The culture is not moving in a good direction, there is very less to No appreciation, team culture are going into abyss. Its just becoming a service based company. They are ending the WFH policy. Hike are bad, suddenly they unofficially rollout a policy during appraisal cycle, that management has decided to not give anyone the top rating, everyone has doing only satisfactory work. -Hike are average -Employees who are not working good or are too bad both in personality as well as professionality are given way too much leniency which makes it very tough for other employees who are trying to do good for the project. -Office politics are fairly visible from the onshore US teams.

CIB SST TA team is pathetic. Worst project of my career. Favouritism. Unbelievably impossible deadlines. Minimum 14 hours work per day continuously. No comp offs no leave policy , always on call, multiple releases per month on weekends, everything is critical. Micromanagement is encouraged. Sometimes i felt even managers were helpless, no option. Only cunning people who blame on others can survive, others will end up messing of their health. You will be low key forced to contribute to company and CIB initiatives even if your project has too much of work and have no time. Developers are treated like labour. Nothing to like much in Jpmc. Very very bad culture. Higher manager never come and talk to you, even if you are VP. your manager feedback is everything. Even your manager also doesnt come and aak foe your bandwidth. He is expecting , you ask for work, you ask everything. There is no documentation of project and manager doesnt bother to create it. Being a VP, still you will be ignored from every mail within the team and manager will say, 'you come and ask, if you see any changes in code'. If your manager is also a VP, then he wil try to promote himself and he will try to ignore you completely ( not including you in project road map mails). And you cant raise this complain to anywhere. There is no concept of skip level meeting. Technical knowledge has 0 importance here. Dont join jpmc and ruin your career just for few more lakhs in sal. Though people are in office, I have seen ED is shouting on some junior in zoom call. There is no team culture here and giving attendance (3/5) just looks like school....Read More

Company culture is very professional and good. Colleagues are obviously genius so can get chance to learn more. JP is a big brand and they maintains their reputation in all manners by providing nice infrastructure, facilities and healthcare support.
