Jp Morgan provides the best in class inclusivity and job security and competitive compensation along with perfect work life balance and a culture that makes you feel like making it the only company you would ever wanna work for.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked was the interview for internal job postings. Whilst they do multiple interviews but they still open job requisition in accordance to the person they have in mind.

Likes

It has work life balance to some extent as it can be seen in some job profiles not all. They value their employees and constantly help them in growing technical skills.

Dislikes

Management people within the organization are not able to maintain JP Morgan true work culture policy which creates dissatisfaction and unrest among employees. Quality of work degrades as their criteria for promotion for all roles revolves around automation of process even in core finance role which is not right.

The pool of colleagues are from Tier1 college which has a good impact on your growth and learning as well as a negative impact on your promotion and appraisal.

The work life balance takes a toll on demanding days. You have to have a good networking skill to outshine others and should have a great negotiation skill deal with the pay structure.

The company predominantly displays the culture of micro management & employees are constantly poked and nagged until they give up. The mangers needs ego massaging and think that they are paying for their employees salary or if their pocket. The worst kind of people with no humanly etiquettes are found here. Pointless events and Indian management efforts and resultant bakwas session to try and stay relevant.

Dislikes

Global centers are regarded as labour arbitrage destinations and international managers excel in passive agressive racism blatantly. Local management is just full of sycophants, so don't bother doing more than your base salary
