Well from my line of business the pay isnt that great but it isnt mediocre either. I would say you will be pleased. And that is the only con as of now

I love the hyderabad office more , it was a pleasure being in that office .. we had work and fun .. it was always fun to be there .. there are teams who doesnt support but office is known for its credibility.

I hate sometimes certain peoples approach towards team and their attempt to change everything when they come from outside .. when there is a new person from another company they tend to do what they did there but not adapting to the beautiful culture that the company holds in .

-Hike are average -Employees who are not working good or are too bad both in personality as well as professionality are given way too much leniency which makes it very tough for other employees who are trying to do good for the project. -Office politics are fairly visible from the onshore US teams.

Salary work-life balance all are a given in this company. If you work here with a great manager you don't need to switch at least for nest 5 year. no day will be mundane.

Dislikes

IJP is now a tool just to retain employees who are leaving, i would want less on the current manager's involvement in movement, as they try to hinder it by influence to ensure only they have a good employee. IJP is intended for learning new skills but unfortunately that is failing.

Internal mobility,decent job security, growth opportunities overall company. Overall company policies are good. Off-course depends on project. You should be in a good project under good manager.

CIB SST TA team is pathetic. Worst project of my career. Favouritism. Unbelievably impossible deadlines. Minimum 14 hours work per day continuously. No comp offs no leave policy , always on call, multiple releases per month on weekends, everything is critical. Micromanagement is encouraged. Sometimes i felt even managers were helpless, no option. Only cunning people who blame on others can survive, others will end up messing of their health. You will be low key forced to contribute to company and CIB initiatives even if your project has too much of work and have no time. Developers are treated like labour. Everything depends on your Manager. And all are so insecure that if they see you as a competition then they will turn your life upside down by misusing their power. Very Toxic, in the name of learning curve, they will put you in the harsh environment and there would be no room for errors. The thing I disliked was the interview for internal job postings. Whilst they do multiple interviews but they still open job requisition in accordance to the person they have in mind.

It has work life balance to some extent as it can be seen in some job profiles not all. They value their employees and constantly help them in growing technical skills.

Dislikes

Management people within the organization are not able to maintain JP Morgan true work culture policy which creates dissatisfaction and unrest among employees. Quality of work degrades as their criteria for promotion for all roles revolves around automation of process even in core finance role which is not right.

Most of the AVP and VPs are dumb. Managers showoff that they are superior and never approachable. But advise team members approachable. They hire as they like and don’t worry if anyone resigns and goes Pay is too less. 8% is avg hike. Even after 6-7 years your salary will be 10-11 lpa Office poltics, favoritism too much Better look for something else out.

Company is good. It has good policies for their employees. Providing decent salary, good bonus and other great perquisites. Employees transportation and insurance cost is borne by the company and not charged from employees. Every employee is covered not just under medical insurance but under term life insurance also.

Dislikes

1. No leave encashment policy. Balance leaves will be encashed only if you are leaving the company. 2. With respect to work life balance this company is not too good. 3. This company is not an HR oriented company. Meaning it is little bit difficult to approach HR. I am not much aware of whether HR is taking any sessions or interacting with operations employees to know the working situation.
