It was good at first, when I joined, good WFH benefits, WFH equipment reimbursement. Good culture.

The culture is not moving in a good direction, there is very less to No appreciation, team culture are going into abyss. Its just becoming a service based company. They are ending the WFH policy. Hike are bad, suddenly they unofficially rollout a policy during appraisal cycle, that management has decided to not give anyone the top rating, everyone has doing only satisfactory work. JPMC is one of the best employers. The work life Balance is good. Senior management is really great. Employee benefits are another one to be called out. Over all a great experience. I would love to work for this for this firm again.

I love the hyderabad office more , it was a pleasure being in that office .. we had work and fun .. it was always fun to be there .. there are teams who doesnt support but office is known for its credibility.

I hate sometimes certain peoples approach towards team and their attempt to change everything when they come from outside .. when there is a new person from another company they tend to do what they did there but not adapting to the beautiful culture that the company holds in .

-Hike are average -Employees who are not working good or are too bad both in personality as well as professionality are given way too much leniency which makes it very tough for other employees who are trying to do good for the project. -Office politics are fairly visible from the onshore US teams.

Salary work-life balance all are a given in this company. If you work here with a great manager you don't need to switch at least for nest 5 year. no day will be mundane.

IJP is now a tool just to retain employees who are leaving, i would want less on the current manager's involvement in movement, as they try to hinder it by influence to ensure only they have a good employee. IJP is intended for learning new skills but unfortunately that is failing.

CIB SST TA team is pathetic. Worst project of my career. Favouritism. Unbelievably impossible deadlines. Minimum 14 hours work per day continuously. No comp offs no leave policy , always on call, multiple releases per month on weekends, everything is critical. Micromanagement is encouraged. Sometimes i felt even managers were helpless, no option. Only cunning people who blame on others can survive, others will end up messing of their health. You will be low key forced to contribute to company and CIB initiatives even if your project has too much of work and have no time. Developers are treated like labour. One of the worst companies I have ever worked for was JP Morgan. Leadership and other team members make offensive remarks about gender and complexity. When someone takes an unplanned or sick leave, team members often does not react emphatically and don't understand why. What's more surprising is that the leadership encourages this behavior, and if issues are raised, they will ask to ignore them rather than address the problem. It leads to a lack of confidence. A complete employee friendly organization and the entire management is really approachable. Work-life balance is perfectly balanced, at times one may need to stretch, but organization never encourage it. Salary at par, and great perks given too.

Dislikes

No wfh option available with the recent changes announced by the top management. However flexibility will be given based on personal requirements, fingers crossed.
