It has work life balance to some extent as it can be seen in some job profiles not all. They value their employees and constantly help them in growing technical skills.
Management people within the organization are not able to maintain JP Morgan true work culture policy which creates dissatisfaction and unrest among employees. Quality of work degrades as their criteria for promotion for all roles revolves around automation of process even in core finance role which is not right.

Work life balance. Very repetitive work . One can manage and make a balance in personal and work stuff. Salary is good if you negotiate good at the time of joining. Later it becomes stagnant ( bonus is good )
Work , skill development , self growth is quite difficult as mostly old technologies are running since years . Senior monopoly. Very less scope for new comer to learn , implement new things , gives ideas and growth . Few people sitting since inception at senior level , they do not move resulting impacting your growth .

I love the hyderabad office more , it was a pleasure being in that office .. we had work and fun .. it was always fun to be there .. there are teams who doesnt support but office is known for its credibility.
I hate sometimes certain peoples approach towards team and their attempt to change everything when they come from outside .. when there is a new person from another company they tend to do what they did there but not adapting to the beautiful culture that the company holds in .

Salary work-life balance all are a given in this company. If you work here with a great manager you don't need to switch at least for nest 5 year. no day will be mundane.
IJP is now a tool just to retain employees who are leaving, i would want less on the current manager's involvement in movement, as they try to hinder it by influence to ensure only they have a good employee. IJP is intended for learning new skills but unfortunately that is failing.

You can make you personal growth.
Nothing to like much in Jpmc. Very very bad culture. Higher manager never come and talk to you, even if you are VP. your manager feedback is everything. Even your manager also doesnt come and aak foe your bandwidth. He is expecting , you ask for work, you ask everything. There is no documentation of project and manager doesnt bother to create it. Being a VP, still you will be ignored from every mail within the team and manager will say, 'you come and ask, if you see any changes in code'. If your manager is also a VP, then he wil try to promote himself and he will try to ignore you completely ( not including you in project road map mails). And you cant raise this complain to anywhere. There is no concept of skip level meeting. Technical knowledge has 0 importance here. Dont join jpmc and ruin your career just for few more lakhs in sal. Though people are in office, I have seen ED is shouting on some junior in zoom call. There is no team culture here and giving attendance (3/5) just looks like school....Read More
