Dislikes

Appraisals and Promotions are not good. Pay wise you may not feel satisfied ever. Good for 35 + people who are already in good carreer bands.

Very toxic culture, the company wants you to work like machine and forget you are also an human being. Don't join this bank ever, no doubt you will get high packages but health is wealth. Bcz of HSBC I'm suffering from backpain issue from last 3 years.

As a company HSBC is top notch. It's the best you can work for however the people in the management are not helpful at all , favoritism.low promotion rate. Very low hike and bonuses.

Some managers and avps are terrible. If they don't like you they will make sure that they make you leave.

Don’t work more than 2-3 year here. There will no proper hike and you have to work like a slave here and micro management is worst thing.

9 hours you have be stick to your system and can’t move. It like slave to this company. Micro management and no Proper hike and appraisal are done on your work and talent.

As a company HSBC and it's policies are good. But if u r not lucky enough to get a good team, then it will be the most worst part. It's not HSBC, it's people who makes its toxic.
