HPE has been a fantastic organization to work for, especially with its focus on open policies and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. These aspects have helped me maintain a healthy balance between my personal and professional life, which I greatly value. However, given the highly specialized and segmented structure of teams, the scope to explore multiple technologies within a single role can be somewhat limited. They have corporate, plots to just not give you incentives even if you work hard, they judge you based on certification that can be obtained by outright cheating and not actual work you do

The management displays clear favoritism, often making last-minute shift changes and denying requests for work-from-home or leave without proper reasons. In some cases, they include false claims in warning letters for reasons only they seem to understand. Contract workers face unfair treatment unless they continually appease the managers to get what they need. Salary discrepancies are prevalent—favored employees receive higher pay for the same work, while others encounter issues during performance reviews and pay hikes. When we ask for work-from-home due to long commutes, we're told to take leave, only to later be criticized for taking too many days off. The inconsistency is frustrating. They also send formal emails for trivial matters, like stepping out to collect a food delivery. Speaking of food, the canteen offers very limited healthy options for night shift workers, with choices like instant noodles and white bread sandwiches, though the cook is good. Hygiene is another concern—there have been instances of worms in the water filters, and some employees do not maintain basic hygiene standards in the washrooms. While badged employees, especially those on their notice period, are often left unchecked for not working, contract workers—especially the quieter ones—face disproportionate scrutiny for minor issues. Too many veterans who have been with the company for many years and know how to navigate the system w/o a lot of effort and calling the shots as far as management decisions are concerned. This can be a deal breaker for someone who moves in laterally from another org for instance
