The Google Operations Center as genral has a ability to provide better working exprince to employees when compared with any other organisations. It does provide you with some Good meals and benefits for personal growth which one could claim reimbursements for.

Dislikes

Let's be honest here, the management at any level in this Organisation is as crappy as it can get. No strong suits of vocals! No presentations appearances . I am not saying that you need to dress everyday however I am saying is that one should present themselves well enough because they are entitled to great role and responsibilities. Office politics is everywhere, every organisation has its level and degrees of it however, here, you would find people with low ability to handle teams, taking care of them! Well! Not literally! Work life balance ? What is that? If you believe that you are someone who is different from the crowd then trust me, you'll be penalized for that. I would join this company again, but not with a perspective that I will 'maybe' get hike one day or better role or better IJPs would role out some day. You might get good salary package at the start however you won't get often hikes. People get layed off before they can complete their 5 years for you know!!!!!!...Read More

There is no HR support to employee and the only answer they can ever have is to talk to your manager I am not sure about other locations but Hyd does not carry a great work culture at all The senior managers here are worse than the managers in local call centers, they are still in disbelief that they are part of an organisation likeGOC while they still carry the bossy approach. Your growth here completely depends on your relationship with the leadership team. In any attempt to get some help with respect growth, guidance or support when facing issues please be sure that right from your manager to the site head Ashish Nair will either ignore your emails or give the same response as your immediate reporting manager, In case you have something to escalate anonymously to the HR or anyone in the leadership team, please be rest assured that your issue will not be addressed firstly secondly the issue will be discussed in such a way that you see the impact in the next review cycle. Finally growth, you will hear one thing throughout your tenure which would be apply for IJP. IJPs will come and go and you will see lesser eligible people moving up the ladder but you never would be able to process the mystery. I loved the freedom and independence at work culture, by GOC. I really liked the professionalism maintained regards to everything and management was good as compared to other companies.

Dislikes

There is one thing that comes to mind is layoff’s due to which my job got affected and I had to leave such a good company. If layoffs didn’t happen I’d have continued working at GOC. But I believe in everything happens for good, so all good.
