If you are someone who keeps learning and unskilling yourself, you can definitely benefit a lot from GS . The process i was a part of was robot work and had no growth . I upskilled myself and moved to IT.

Every organization has their own politics and working in a corporate world everyone knows that but the dramas that happen in Gs will never happen anywhere . Promotions are given to friends and mutual friends . Sometimes some people get opportunities because they speak same language and the funniest part is these happen across all divisions. I knew someone ( friend of a manager ) who got promoted as manager because they mentored new joiners for a week whereas people who had actual team handling experience is still a specialist. Please if you think of upskilling yourself join Gs and learn stuff and leave. !! Be smart !!...Read More

Am I on right path?

Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks. My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K. With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes. Now, I’m preparing for an HR round and planning to ask for a 55% hike. Am I on the right track? How can I accelerate my career growth?
