I like the people I used to work with in this company. Very few are left now with constant layoffs every quarter.

This was my Dream company when I joined. But after the merger it has become FirstData internally only the name of Fiserv has remains. They FD mgmt stratergically removed all the Fiserv mgmt or made them to quit. All the upper mgmt now in the company is just old time colleagues of each other mostly from JPMC. So, there is hell for you if your mngr is bad. Too much micromanagement. Every day Sapience required for 8 hours. you require to be 12 hours ahead of computer to meet the same. 5 days in office, they monitor badge-in and badge-out required to have 9 hours. All the talented people already left or layoff. No help available. If you are not one of the boot-licker forget about promotions. No on-site opportunities, as company don't want to sponsor visa's anymore....Read More

I strongly advise against joining or rejoining Fiserv, no matter how attractive the salary offer may seem. This company mandates 8 hours in the office and imposes 8-hour screen monitoring tools on laptops, making life unbearable. While they might offer you a higher salary, remember that no amount of money can compensate for your freedom and well-being. Choose life over money. I made the mistake of rejoining this organization, and it felt like I was walking back into prison. The work culture, especially in the Digital Banking unit is toxic and riddled with office politics. If you are considering joining the RXP or CFN UI projects, be prepared to say goodbye to your personal life - you'll be entering a world of constant stress. I was part of the Pune team, and it was the worst experience I've had in my career. Many people there have been with the company for over a decade, and they wield their seniority through dirty office politics. The Product Owner in Pune was tough to work with - the worst person I've encountered professionally. Every day, I was under immense mental stress due to the toxic environment. To make matters worse, they judge you solely on your knowledge of their products, ignoring your technical skills. Company culture, policies and sapience tool they use to monitor billability of each and every second employee spends on laptop. You will never get good appraisal unless you are favourite of your manager.

Salary is good. Appraisals are always around 10-12%. Direct managers are good.

Dislikes

The recent management changes after first data merger have changed the culture of the company. They have introduced tools like sapience which would track your daily hours on laptop. We are supposed to complete 8hrs in that tool and stay in office for complete 8 hrs. The tool tracks 8 hrs when you actually work 10-11 hrs. So basically your work life balance is gone. No work life balance now.

Extreme level of micromanagement. Extremely strict timings, that too to be maintained on laptop. Difficult to leave your workstation even for a short break else you will loose on hours spent on laptop which is strictly 8hours.
