Fiserv was a good place to work until the recent merger with First Data. This has wiped almost all the Fiserv hierarchy with only First Data management remaining. Although company has given good assistance program during Covid pandemic

Dislikes

Since the merger with First Data the company has started using Sapience software to monitor each and every activity on employees system where in if you are away for 5 mins it counts as offline. The company expects the employee to complete 8 hours as online on the computer where in the employee is either clicking the mouse or hittinga keystroke for 8 hours. Also they plan to monitor the lines of code written on average by a developer. Apart from this they have started proctored internal assements on technology based exams every year. It's like being in school where you have to write an exam every year to get promoted. The company has provided udemy license for a year to upgrade on learning and be ready for the assessments without any clear alignment as to what a person should study for the assessment. In any other exam you know the syllabus and the what yo study expect in an exam. Here this is all open ended.
