I worked in the catalyst team. The research consulting division based out of Bangalore. I left because of toxic culture of internal nepotism, limited growth, limited salary, and a very intense work load.

Dislikes

Very poor work life balance. Managers are not open to training new joiners. Growth is based on your relationship with managers and not on skill.

The in-house database is good, but being priced premium, the Indian sales scenario is bad. Decent pay and travel opportunities within Consulting!

Dislikes

The pay can sometimes seem less compared to what in-country field analysts get paid.

I have the following offers: 1. Exl - 24 lpa fixed + 12% variable + 2 lakhs joining bonus Position - manager 2. Infinite computer solutions - 30 lpa fixed 3. Deloitte - Still negotiating trying for 30-35 lpa I am prioritizing long term employment as well as personal/ professional growth as I have major family responsibilities coming ahead in next year. Please let me know your insights. Update - Thank you for all the inputs everyone who all contributed to the discussion. I have actually made my decision, I will be joining ICS at technical lead - 37 LPA. They offered a sweet deal that is too good to resist.
