India-EPAM's target & focus is only on Staff Aug & staffing responsibility. CoE & delivery management's only responsibility is to do staffing. They claim they do take best talent, but the ground reality is their focus is building & developing larger engineering team out side India. Too much of Geo biased politics. After 5 rounds of quality interview process & with 2X amount of lucrative offer received by this company. One would realize that as a Mid management role/Delivery head/Technical architect/Tech Manager, each would land-up here as Staffing assistance. Not at all a promising company for any of the learning. If any one would prefer to do a kind a sabbatical job, it can be considered as an ideal company!...Read More

Salary Negotiation

I have cleared the first round of Capgemini multiple times (3 out of 4) for the position of senior software engineer(7.5 years experience),my current package is 28 LPA(Fixed), I got 3 calls from Capgemini HRs saying, one HR said She would only offer 25 LPA, another said 26.5 and one more said 28 LPA all of these with a 10% variable included in what they offered. My profile is strong with technical skills of Java, Springboot, Microservices, etc.However I switched 4-5 companies in my tenure, which is acting as a big minus for me during negotiation. Any tips on negotiations? I don't have any other offers. Only after 1st round & salary approval, they'll schedule a final round, I'm hopeful of clearing atleast 1 or 2 in the 3 opportunities, Capgemini is a company I want to join because of work life balance. Kindly suggest how to negotiate salary.
