Observed high amount of politics in some department where your ability to please the manager is measured more than the actual skills. Some departments deviated from the product based culture to sevice based culture.

Pathetic work culture and old timers are only interested in playing office politics and doing micro management. Non transparent policies and head heavy organisation. During recruitment HR promises career progression and try to fit a level lower but due to lack of transparency promotion etc. are distant myth for new recruits.

There are many good AVPs and VPs. They know how to get things done. Its a big organization so overall experience depends on team you work with and manager you report to.

KRU research team is not well managed. Insecure and inefficient people holding people management roles that's why overall experience was not good. This team needs shuffling of AVP,s and VP. Manager and Leads are selfish. Just to shine their careers they are spoiling careers of team members. Learning in this team is NIL. Bootlickers get all the limelight, only limelight to stay motivated so that they can stretch without complaining. Jaipur lead is very toxic,she lacks ppl mgmt skills. The organisation is goal oriented and the goals are communicated clearly. Most leaders are not micro managers and give a platform for the teams to grow.

Dislikes

The salary hike in India has been terrible over the last 3 years. Even though the company makes unprecedented profits it is not shared with the employees. The bonus payouts are very bad as well at all levels if compared to other international banks.

-No work life balance -You'll receive call at any given time even if you're on leave. -Weekend working should be optional but you'll never get to choose it. -On an average 11 to 12 hours of shift on any normal day is a normal expectation from you. -office politics on top. -VP are work machines with no personal life and they'll expect the same from you. -VPs can call you even at midnight for business urgency as if you are on charging mode & not a human who is sleeping. -You'll be forced to do a certain task on the same working day even if you have to login till mid night 3 or 4 am. -and last that all of the above is considered normal because you're not human in co. Policies are good but hr is external and for technical roles the responsibilities are not clear.
