Directors are incapable of running business. Their is a army of incapable Directors who are spoiling future of many employees. If you are technically skilled and want to grow in technology then never join DB. Higher management only like boot lickers who just do buttering of bosses. Even if you are deserving you will not be promoted. They will keep giving you false promises, this quarter and next quarter and then you are stuck there in hope. Hikes are bad 2%, 3% only. Sitting 8 hrs in office, even if you do not have any work.

No better hike,no promotion despite working for Deutsche Bank for 6 years. Few people even if they are good at work and have a great amount of experience in handling products but their culture and communication are really poor towards their fellow colleagues.
