If you are technically skilled and want to grow in technology then never join DB. Higher management only like boot lickers who just do buttering of bosses. Policies are good but hr is external and for technical roles the responsibilities are not clear.

The organisation is goal oriented and the goals are communicated clearly. Most leaders are not micro managers and give a platform for the teams to grow.

Dislikes

The salary hike in India has been terrible over the last 3 years. Even though the company makes unprecedented profits it is not shared with the employees. The bonus payouts are very bad as well at all levels if compared to other international banks.

1) you are gone if you get Indian manager. they run the projects like they own the company. 2) no new learning and no career growth, 3) no motivation at work, 4) stuck and stagnant old-aged people around you all the time, 5) everyone wants to save his/her chair(job) even there is no path to learn.
