Working at Merkle IDC was a great experience in terms of work culture and learning opportunities and career prospects. There was good work life balance, increment, bonus annually.

Dislikes

Post integration of Merkle Sokrati with Dentsu, the work culture of the company does not remain the same. Need to get approvals for bank holidays from manager which is completely new and weird process. In terms of growth and learning, it becomes stagnant at a point. Feedbacks are not taken seriously by the organization. Lack of clarity even at higher levels when it comes to implementing processes. TOO MUCH OF MICROMANAGEMENT hampering the work culture and work productivity. Work utilization data is collected by every company on weekly basis, so was it at Merkle Sokrati. However, post integration with Dentsu, the same data is collected by implementing three different process of filling timesheets, work UT docs, Issue trackers which is heavily time consuming and a complete waste. Merkle was more into growth, learning and growing productively. Dentsu is more of micro managing, unnecessary process implementations, lack of growth and learnings and above all, highly unorganized....Read More
