Great brand to work for. Employee friendly policies with great benefits. Focus on learning and upskilling. Provides opportunities to explore new work areas. Some good leaders who are also mentors

You're responsible for your own career here. People will guide you but you will have to take ownership and create a rapport with the leadership. May not suit everyone's working style. Also, work can sometimes become monotonous.

More politics and bad appreciation/increments. If anyone looking for constant slow growth with less pressure, go for it. For the other who want the appreciation to the work contribution it is completely depending on the Partner who is leading the project and who is friendly to him.

The Peeple, The culture, The leadership visits with free food :), Work satisfaction at least in finance teams, and Occasional ethnic wear :), these all make the Deloitte best. However, I know the culture may vary from team to team, but if you are able to find a good team, you are all sorted.

Dislikes

The hikes are not that good, and last year bonus was also not that great.. Hope this will improve in coming years.

Deloitte does provide flexibility of work from home depending on the project.

Attitude of the Partners and the fact that Deloitte India does follow a cajolery culture when it comes to securing global projects. Therefore, its difficult to maintain professional and personal dignity at workplace.

Performance management is worst part of Deloitte, If Manager is happy you will get the promotion irrespective of the work done. Promotions are very difficult in Deloitte, they just find reasons to deny Promotions for hard working people. This is the place for show off people who just dependent on English than the skills.

Great place for collaboration and networking. Amazing facilities but restricted usage based on career level. Decent leadership depending on the business you're in. Okay benefits and hybrid work environment.

Dislikes

Not market leaders in terms of compensation. Deloitte plays it safe by staying in top 5 for pay. Promotions happen only if there is enough budget in the business and Business leader's personal preference. Too many rules and restrictions.

Deloitte has good number of service based clients, provides decent hike compared to other organizations, it has good work schedule & flexible hybrid work hours etc.

Dislikes

Deloitte involves lot of politics in terms of promotion, performance feedback, appraisals etc. Gradually it stopped caring over the employees wellbeing.

People - I had fun learning and working with majority of my collegues. Some of the people are highly helpful and highly skilled. Treated me like actual friends and family. While some are just straight up trash. No comments.

Dislikes

The type of projects they gave me, which honestly made me resign. None of the projects given to me were the type Deloitte hired me to do. They hired me to do (`X`) thing and i expected projects of (`X`) or projects which co-relate to the domain of (`X`), but the projects they gave me were all of `Z`. Excel and ppt, the only 2 skillsyou need to work in Deloitte. There is no worklife balance, in one of the projects me and the engagement team worked till 3 am to complete the over commitment by our partner and attended the 9 am meeting, where we were bashed. My mental and phyiscal health is drained and i honestly quitted without a job in hand!...Read More
